Obituary of Leonard Martin Drover

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and sibling.  Born in Baie Verte, NL to Michael and Madeline (Walsh) Drover.

Leonard moved to NB when he met the love of his life. He loved yard sales, his family and the Boston Bruins. He had such a big warm heart, loved joking with people and loved life.

Survived by his wife and best friend, Jennifer (Smith) Drover; children, Jennifer (Jordan), Samantha (Daniel); grandchildren, Elliot and Evelyn; siblings, Theresa (Elton Mayne), Alice (Dave Hoven), Gene (Agnes), Bill Drover, Brenda (Glen Banks), Lenora (Chris Copper), Madeline (Ivan Grant), Michael (Sandra), and Paul Drover; many nieces and nephews; in- laws, Joanne Smith (Jacques LeBlanc), Sandra Chown.

In addition to his parents, Michael and Madeline Drover he was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Lillian and Orville Smith; brothers-in-law, Pat Furey and Myles Chown.

Donations in memory of Leonard made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Arrangements are under the care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, NB, E1B 1V6, (506) 857-9544 where a memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 2:00pm.
